Im having problems with the power supply to my boost control valve on a 2008 grand vitara DDIS. Without the valve plugged in a have around 11.6 volts but as soon as its plugged in the voltage drops off therefore not operating the wastegate- no turbo boost at all. Can anyone shine any light on this please as i dont have much hair left to pull out
429 posts · Joined 2013. #4 · Oct 4, 2013 (Edited) Just go for at least a 45 min drive, make sure your speed is above 80kph. This should regenerate the DPF and the light should go off. If a long drive does not fix the issue, then new DPF is around $700 last i checked. I still can't believe how shiny the inside of my tail pipe is.
